The Holy Quran is a great gift from God Almighty to all of humanity, a fountain of wisdom and a light that guides the lost and brings people out of the darkness of ignorance into the spaciousness of knowledge and faith. Because of its great importance in the life of a Muslim, it is necessary to be keen on instilling love for it and teaching it to children from an early age, so that it can be a compass that guides them on the path of life and helps them face challenges.

The Importance of Teaching the Quran to Children:

  • Instilling faith in their souls:

The Holy Quran is the word of God Almighty, and it is the primary source of faith. When children learn the Holy Quran from an early age, faith is rooted in their hearts and grows with them, and they become Muslims committed to the morals and principles of Islam.

  • Developing their morals:

The Holy Quran is full of noble values and morals that help build the personality of the balanced Muslim. When they learn its verses and contemplate their meanings, they acquire characteristics such as honesty, trustworthiness, justice, mercy, generosity, and other commendable qualities.

The Arabic language is the language of the Holy Quran, and it is a rich and eloquent language. When children learn the Holy Quran, they learn the Arabic language in a correct and fluent manner, which helps them improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills.

  • Forming a positive mindset:

The Holy Quran presents a positive outlook on life and encourages optimism and hope. When children learn its verses, they develop a positive mindset that helps them face the challenges and difficulties in their lives.

Ways to Teach the Quran to Children:
